The Marley Project
Bill Hammond has built his success with a focus on commitment, credibility, and relationships, and it is these relationships that have paved the way to uplifting others. Hammond Blessed 25th’s first beneficiary was Marley Franklin, a high school senior and accomplished young golfer. Having overcome countless obstacles, including a battle with sickle cell anemia, Marley is the picture of resilience and determination, which is exemplified by her full ride to Howard University in the fall. It is not easy being a female, Black, and left-handed golfer, but despite that, Marley recently came in first place at the LA City 71st Annual Junior Golf Championship, and qualified for the Junior PGA Championships in Chicago this year. Hammond Blessed 25th, and the collective donors to the Marley Franklin Fund, are proud to be able to cover Marley’s tournament and travel costs, provide her with personal training, private golf lessons, and access to private country clubs. Bill Hammond is passionate about finding others like Marley to uplift, mentor, and lend resources to.
